Your Air Source Heat Pump works on the same principle as your fridge, but in reverse. It absorbs heat from the air outside, then uses a compression system to transform that heat energy into heat that warms the water in your heating and hot water systems.
The air outside doesn’t need to feel warm for your Air Source Heat Pump to extract heat energy from it. In fact, ASHPs work all the way down to -25 degrees C, so our British winters will pose no problem to your system!

EcoFueled installed an air source heat pump system at my house just over a year ago and have recently carried out an annual servicing. Very satisfied with them.
One thing I'd particularly highlight as a positive is that their servicing package, as well as being very competitively priced, INCLUDES re-dosing of Glycol anti-freeze. I initially did my servicing through another company at they were about thirty pounds cheaper (which I assumed was because they were more local and had less far to travel) but afterwards they quoted me an additional three hundred pounds just to top up the glycol levels.
So I very highly rate EcoFueled, especially for their annual servicing of ASHP.

We have had our Midea air source heat pump installed since September. We live in a 1950s semi, therefore it doesn’t have modern installation. The heat pump has dealt with wind rain and very cold weather this winter and has kept the house comfortably warm. The team that did the installation were hard working and extremely polite.
In December 2025 my Wife and I decided we would convert our house to 99% S0LAR POWER.
We already have 20 solar panels and we decided to have a Heat Pump installed.
I purchased a further 8 Solar Panels to help power the heat pump.
We chose EcoFueled of Poole to carry out the work.
Our house was warmed by a gas warm air system and hot water was via a gas water heater.
This was a very big job as EcoFueled had to remove the old gas warm air unit and water heater system.
6 new radiators and pipe work then had to be installed.
Eco Fueled also supplied the Heat Pump, water tank, all necessary pipe work for the pump and electrics for operating the system.
The job took 4 days and all staff were very professional in carrying out the work.
Nothing was to much trouble for them and the house was left very tidy after each days work.
We were very impressed by the standard of work.
The paperwork from their office was promptly sent out and all necessary documents sent to us.
Everything is working and providing the heat we require this winter 24/7.
We fully recommend the company 5 ***** Star.
( We retained one gas fire and a gas hob in our dining room /kitchen)

Firstly, Callum was extremely helpful over the phone and took the time to explain how a heat pump would work in my home. He gave me an estimate which I was surprised by, as it was much cheaper than I was expecting. Because of this, I arranged a full on-site survey.
They sent a guy called David out, who I later found out is actually the owner of the company, which makes sense as he said he’s been a heating engineer since leaving school. His knowledge really helped me make my decision, and I was happy to see the price stayed the same when the full quotation came through.
We went ahead with the install and the fitting team were clean, tidy, and got everything completed within 3 days from start to finish. David then returned to carry out a full handover.
Abi from the office rang the next morning to check we were happy with everything, which we were.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend EcoFueled to friends or family and I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs over the next 12 months.

We live in Reading and have had our boiler replaced with a Mitsubishi heat pump making use of the government voucher of £7.500 which made the heat pump hardly any more expensive than a new boiler. Ecofuled with David, Abi and Harry have been very friendly and professional. Dom installed the cylinder in the attic and heat pump outside together with Harry and their work has been brilliant. We now have extra space in the kitchen since the boiler is gone and a completely free airing cupboard which we can use for storage.
We also had 10 radiators replaced because ours were very old. The team tried to fulfil all our wishes and do everything the way we wanted it at no extra cost. There were a few communication issues. So, it is best if you know exactly what you want and know what you need to ask. But all in all we are very happy with the results and if we go for solar panels in the future we will ask Ecofuled to install them.

We couldn't be more delighted with our experience of working with David, Amy and the rest of the team. We were deep into our house extension and full refurb when we decided to explore the idea of heat pumps & solar. David stopped by within hrs of the first call to the office and walked us through the possibilities and whether our house would be a good candidate. I can't fault EcoFueled. They were prompt, competitive, and efficient. The installers were neat, the workmanship was tidy, they managed to fit everything within the limited space available and the system works. I had an emergency problem with a water heater that stopped working. In spite of short notice, David fitted me in. Within a couple of days a new heater was efficiently installed, the old one removed with everything left clean and tidy. Thank you very much.

Wow, what can I say !!! Absolutely brilliant service. I noticed that my water wasn't as hot as normal on Tuesday of this week. Wednesday it was none existent. I contacted my landlord who contacted EcoFueled. She asked me to contact them direct to explain the problem and send photos of the water heater. EcoFueled communicated directly with me. This morning 2 lovely lads arrived at 0745 and by 1000 I had a new heater fitted and working. The lads were absolutely brilliant, got on with the job, with no major disruption to me, and they tidied up when they'd finished. I can't recommend EcoFueled highly enough. Thank you so much.

Updated the bathroom in our bungalow which involved extensive work on concrete floor to bury pipework. Work started on time and continued to completion. All workers were personable, polite and took care. The resulting bathroom is beyond our expectations. We cannot praise them enough. After completion there was a small problem with the toilet which was fixed without fuss first thing the following morning after informing them.
