About Ecofueled

EcoFueled is a fast-growing, MCS-certified renewable energy installation company based in Poole, Dorset. Founded in 2023, we specialise in solar PV and air source heat pump systems for residential and commercial customers across the South of England. We hold MCS scheme accreditation, operate a team built around quality and compliance, and are now pursuing a significant growth milestone. This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a genuine inflection point. The decisions we make in the next 12 months will define the shape of the company for years to come.

The Opportunity

We have built a solid business on referrals and paid search. We have the team, the pipeline, and the capital to grow — but we know our marketing and conversion system needs rebuilding properly before we scale. This role exists to do three things:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fix our current conversion funnel so that every marketing pound works harder
  • Build the systems, infrastructure, and content that create a predictable, scalable demand pipeline
  • Free our directors from day-to-day marketing activity so they can focus on high-value B2B account
    development

This is not a brand awareness role. We are not looking for someone to manage social media or produce content calendars. We need a commercially minded growth operator who understands how to diagnose a broken funnel, fix it, and then scale what works. If you have done this before in a service business and can show us the numbers, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Own

You own the marketing function end-to-end. The role runs in two phases — fix first, then scale — and you are responsible for both.

Fix the conversion system:

  • Audit our full digital funnel and establish our true cost per lead, per survey, and per completed sale by channel and campaign.
  • Restructure Google Ads to eliminate wasted spend, improve Quality Scores, and launch Google Local Services Ads as a pay-per-lead complement.
  • Improve data coming from our CRM with automated follow-up — no enquiry sits idle, pipeline is visible to both directors in real time.
  • Lead the brief and delivery of a website rebuild built around one objective: converting visitors into survey bookings.

Scale what works

  • Grow paid spend systematically once cost-per-sale data confirms the funnel is performing.
  • Build SEO and review generation as compounding, owned channels — reducing our long-term dependency on paid search.
  • Produce B2B capabilities decks, case studies, and proposal templates that support our directors’ commercial conversations at contract scale.
  • Deliver weekly performance reporting the data that drives every resourcing and spend decision we make

The person we are looking for

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a marketing growth, demand generation or performance marketing role ideally within a service-based business where you own the full funnel, not just one channel.
  • Proven track record of diagnosing and materially improving a digital marketing funnel with specific before-and-after conversion data you can discuss and evidence at interview.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns not just overseeing an agency, but working inside the account, restructuring campaigns, and improving Quality Scores.
  • Experience implementing or managing a CRM platform.
  • Strong analytical mindset. Comfortable in GA4, Looker Studio, or similar; able to turn data into clear commercial decisions and communicate them simply.
  • A track record of managing multiple priorities simultaneously without losing precision

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in renewable energy, solar, heat pump, or broader green technology — or in a related home services or installation sector.
  • Knowledge of Google Local Services Ads and the specific dynamics of local service business marketing.
  • Experience with SEO strategy and execution, including technical SEO fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Xero or similar platforms for revenue and marketing cost reporting.
  • Previous experience in a scale-up or owner-managed business you will need to build structure, not follow it.

On service sector experience: we believe the ability to diagnose a broken funnel, implement a CRM, and manage paid search with discipline is transferable across sectors. We are more interested in the quality of your thinking and the evidence you can present than in a specific industry background. That said, if you have worked in installation, trades, or energy, we would like to know.

The Kind of Person We Need

  • Self-directing and commercially driven: you set your own agenda based on what will move the numbers.
  • Comfortable operating in an environment that is not perfectly structured: you build the structure.
  • Direct and evidence-based in your communication — you tell us what is working and what is not.
  • Genuinely interested in building something not just executing a brief but owning an outcome.
  • Patient and disciplined on sequencing; you understand that scaling spend before fixing the funnel destroys ROI.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
  • Company pension.
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.

How to Apply

We are a small leadership team and we will read every application personally. Please send us:

  • Your CV
  • A short covering note no more than one page — explaining why this role is the right fit for you, and specifically an example of a conversion or funnel improvement you have driven, with the numbers.
  • Any relevant work examples are welcome but not required.
  • Campaign results, CRM setups, case studies, proposal decks.

Send applications through the contact form or email amy@ecofueled.co.uk with the subject line Marketing Growth Manager Application.

We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will close this role as soon as we find the right person.

Early applications are strongly encouraged.
