Project Overview
Mavis and her two daughters live in a draughty 3-bedroom detached home in Poole. The family
wanted to eliminate cold spots, replace an inefficient gas boiler and reduce energy costs while
future-proofing the property. They upgraded to a Mitsubishi Ecodan 8.5kW air source heat pump
with a 170L hot water cylinder and upgraded radiators designed for low-temperature
performance. The project was fully MCS-compliant and completed in just 3 days. Importantly,
we helped Mavis secure the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, making the switch to
renewable heating far more affordable.
